Three Year Graduation Requirements

This option is not available for students who start high school in 2013 or after.

Graduation requirements change based on the option taken and when a student enters high school. The charts on the following pages are designed to provide a quick guide to parents and students. Be sure the chart you are using is for the correct graduation year. For more specific information about individual courses, refer to the High School Subject Area Details section.

*Credits below a C in core academic areas are not accepted for credit toward high school graduation or promotion to subsequent grades. This applies to current students and all previous grades and credits of students wishing to transfer to Families of Faith. Total un-weighted GPA of all high school credits must be 2.0 or higher.

* In addition to the standard core course requirements, FFCA high school students are required to complete a minimum of two credits of Bible. (Specifically Intro to Bible I (Old Testament Survey) and Intro to Bible II (New Testament Survey).

See the Bright Futures page for additional requirements necessary to qualify for those scholarships, and complete what is referred to as the "College Preparatory Track."

Accelerated Program Note:
Florida’s three-year programs are designed for students who are clear about their future goals and are ready to pursue their goals beyond high school in an accelerated manner. To select a three-year graduation program, students and their parents must meet with designated school personnel to receive an explanation of the requirements, advantages, and disadvantages of each program option. Students must also receive the written consent of their parents. The Florida public school system requires that the student select the graduation program prior to the end of ninth grade that will best address his/her future, or they will by default track on the four year, 24 credits graduation option.
