The majority of the students served by Families of Faith Christian Academy International reside in Polk or Hillsborough Counties in central Florida. High School
The average graduating class is betwen twenty-five and thirty students.
40% of the class of 2020 had successfully completed at least one Dual Enrollment College level course.
Just over 50% of graduates go on to a two or four year college or University.
With 25% of the class choosing to enter a Vocational or Career training program.
High School Graduation Requirements
The requirements for a Standard High School diploma mirror the requirements of the Florida Public School System:
English - 4 Credits with substantial writing.
Mathematics - 4 Credits (Algebra I and Geometry specifically required).
Science - 3 Credits, one of which must be Biology, two of which must be equally rigorous. Two of the three must have a laboratory component.
Social Studies - 3 Credits specifically: One credit in World History, One credit in U.S. History, One-half credit in U.S. Government, One-half credit in Economics with a Financial Literacy Component.
Performing Fine Arts, Speech and Debate, or Practical Arts - One Credit.
Physical Education - One credit to include the integration of Health.
*Bibilical World View - Two credits or a minimum of one credit if the student transfers into FOFCAI in his or her Senior year.
Students must meet National Normed Assessment requirements that are on scale with the Florida Assessments.
Students must earn a 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale for all cohort years.
Additional Requirements for the College Prep or Scholar Diploma Designation.
Math: Earn two credits beyond Algebra I and Geometry at the Algebra II, Statistics or equally rigorous level.
Science: Earn a credit in Chemistry, Physics or an equally rigorous level course.
World Language: Earn two credits in the same World Language.
Earn an ACT combined score of 20 or above, or an SAT composite score of 1000 or above.
Student must earn a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale for all core academic courses.
