English-High School Advanced: FOFCAI Blended Classroom Course
Classes Meet Monday and Thursday
9:00 to 10:20 a the school office - Lakeland
This course will build on the skills learned in High School English I while preparing students for college level composition. Emphasis will be placed on more advanced writing assignments such as the argumentative essay and research papers. We will focus on forming a quality thesis and developing a writing style. Presentation of work and impromptu writing will be part of our regular meetings to give opportunities to practice skills in critique. This class will tackle literature critique and analysis as well.
Recommended for ages 13 and up who have completed our High School English I class or a comparable course.
Class will have approximately 3 - 4 hours of homework per week.

Tuition/Fees
Registration Fee: $75 for the first student in a family; $35 for each additional student.
Note: FOFCAI students are charged a Family Registration Fee at enrollment; therefore, no additional registration fee is required for attending Blended Classes.
Class Tuition (per class): $500
Class tuition can be paid in ten monthly payments of $50.

Saxon Algebra 1/2 text (3rd Edition). Standard 8th grade level open to advanced 7th graders.
